Sail Melbourne returns to Port Phillip in 2022

Olympic Sailing Returns to Port Phillip this January

This summer will see the return of Australia’s the pinnacle Olympic and invited class regatta, Sail Melbourne on Port Phillip. The event will run from 13-17 January 2022, supported by the Royal Yacht Club of Victoria and Royal Brighton Yacht Club.

Sail Melbourne’s New Joint Venture

Sail Melbourne the premier Olympic and Invited Classes Regatta, will be hosted in 2022 by Royal Brighton Yacht Club (RBYC) and Royal Yacht Club of Victoria (RYCV) on January 13th -17th.

Sail Melbourne Next Gen will run from 11 - 14 January 2021 for the Optimist, O’Pen Skiff, Minnow and Cadet Classes. Sail Melbourne will run from 16 - 20 January 2021 for the Olympic and Invited Classes. Both events will be hosted by Royal Brighton Yacht Club (RBYC).

National Youth Champions decided after final day of racing abandoned

Racing was abandoned on the final day of the Australian Youth Championships at Sorrento Sailing and Couta Boat Club (SSCBC) after the race committee had continuously monitored the conditions throughout the day in an effort to get the competitors on the water.
