Public Transport

RBYC is well serviced by all sorts of public transport including various Bus Services and the Train (Sandringham Line). For detailed timetable and schedule information, please visit www.ptv.gov.au

Support Vessels

To gain access to the marina all support vessels must be registered with the event via the online form HERE

This registration will provide you with competitor level access to the venue and berthing of your boat during the regatta.

For any berthing/access required outside of the dates of the event, please arrange this directly with RBYC Boating Manager. Colin Burgess-  boatingmanager@rbyc.org.au, 0418 240 313

There are no support vessel launching facilities at the venue.  The first option is 4.4km north of the venue at St Kilda Marina where there is full service marina / boating facility including public launching ramps and re-fuelling.

Option 1 - St Kilda Marina

The second option is 1.6km north of the venue.  We would only recommend small to medium RIB’s at this location.  All day paid trailer parking is available at this location.  Refer to maps.

Second Option – Elwood Boat Ramp at the end of North Rd. This ramp is unsuitable in strong westerly winds.

Training at the venue before the regatta

You can train and sail out of the venue.  If arriving in Melbourne to train before this date (refer to the Preliminary Event Schedule) please contact:

RBYC Boating Manager, Colin Burgess -  boatingmanager@rbyc.org.au , 0418 240 313
