On Shore Entertainment Program 

As Australia revels in its golden Olympic moment, Sail Melbourne strengthens its status as Melbourne’s premier lifestyle sailing event in a perfect conclusion to an outstanding and significant year for the sport.               

The Sailing World Cup Carnival premium hospitality program will offer something for everyone, featuring live music, fashion, great food and family entertainment with an exciting line up of events including the Official Sailing World Cup Dinner and Sail Experience Luncheon welcoming the athletes back to our shores.

Sail Melbourne’s new grassroots initiative, the Golden Moments program will host a line up of community-focussed events giving both the general community and our young aspiring athletes a chance to rub shoulders with their Australian sailing heroes, including a Discover Sailing program and Family Day, while the Olympic Athlete Roadshow and Federation Square Celebration will successfully bring sailing to the people in celebration of our Olympic success.


Official World Cup Dinner

Celebrate Australia’s golden moment at the annual Sailing World Cup Official Dinner as we pay tribute to the Australian Sailing Team, including gold medallist and flag bearer of the 2012 Olympics Malcolm Page and Olympians Mat Belcher, Iain Jensen, Liesl Tesch and Olivia Price following their record-breaking London success.
