SAILING WORLD CUP FINAL: PRESS RELEASE
Land Rover Australia drives into 2016 Sailing World Cup Final
Sailing World Cup Melbourne is delighted to announce that Land Rover Australia will be 'The Presenting Partner' for the 2016 Sailing World Cup Final held at the iconic St Kilda Sailing Precinct from the 4-11 December, 2016.
The Land Rover brand is synonymous with the sport of sailing, from their global partnership with Ben Ainslie Racing to create the Land Rover BAR team which will challenge for the 35th America’s Cup in 2017, to the Extreme Sailing Series as well as the Geelong’s Festival of Sails.
In addition to a range of the latest range of Land Rover vehicles on display; sailors, visitors and passersby can enjoy and experience the exciting Land Rover Terrapod, right there on St Kilda’s vibrant foreshore.
It’s not often you get to experience the breadth of Land Rover capability without leaving the city, but the Terrapod gives you the opportunity to be driven “off-road”. The Terrapod is designed to demonstrate wheel articulation, Traction Control systems, Terrain Response – in short, the state of the art dynamic technology that makes Land Rover a premium SUV.
