St Kilda is Melbourne's seaside playground that is loved by both residents and visitors.  This iconic location is famous for its beautiful beaches, outdoor pubs, cafes and nightlife.

WORLD CLASS RACING

ISAF Sailing World Cup - Melbourne is an inclusive Olympic and Youth Class Regatta providing an opportunity for aspiring young sailors to compete in a World Class Event in the Southern Hemisphere.

 CALLING VOLUNTEERS

We are now calling for volunteers to become involved in this year’s event. Sign-up and experience one of Melbourne's major events. There are plenty of on and off-water opportunities.

With the shortest day of the year now behind us we are  excited to release the Preliminary Event Schedule for the December 2015 event.  

This Preliminary Race Schedule is a guide to assist competitors in making plans for this year’s event.  This Preliminary Race Schedule does not change the formal details that will be released in the upcoming Notice of Race(s) and we plan to open entries and publish of the Invited Classes Notice of Race on the 15th July as well as provide more details regarding the ISAF Sailing World Cup – Melbourne Olympic / Paralympic classes.

Sail-World.com have often been critical of ISAF decision making and sadly it seems will have reasons to continue to be so, but frankly it does look like ISAF is gradually getting things right with the Sailing World Cup.

The ISAF Sailing World Cup was recognised as dysfunctional in 2013 and a painful rebuilding process began.

Held in six cities around the world, Melbourne is the first stop of the 2015 ISAF Sailing World Cup series which then heads to Miami, USA, Hyeres, France, Weymouth & Portland, Great Britain, Qingdao, China and finishes with the series Grand Final event to be held in Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates.

Over 3000 of the world’s leading sailors representing 48 nations have competed at the event in the past five years. The ISAF Sailing World Cup offers a definitive guide to the best in Olympic sailing, scoring competitors across all events throughout the season.
